Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place 16 April 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. She is the daughter of an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor Joy has four siblings. One of them is in each parent's prior marriages. The family lived within Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria region in London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult, and she was not able to study English in hopes of going home to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she moved from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. After she turned 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to focus her full-time acting career. Taylor-Joy always wished to work as an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to become a model.
