Lisa Edelstein is an American actress, best known for her roles in House, a Fox medical drama, House. Growing up with conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was where she set her sights to study the theater at Tisch. She soon became part of the New York club scene and started getting headlines. The press also took notice of her. In the end, she teamed her fame and talent with her writing and composing skills to produce a play called Positive Me. Soon after she was employed by MTV to be the host of Awake On The Wild Side. Her first appearances in film and television productions after the series ended. Initially, she was in smaller roles.
