Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28, 1967) is an American actress and singer. She began her acting career when she was just a teen. She is most known for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders as well as Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised in Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble who was employed as a payroll clerk, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. There are three brothers and sisters. While she was a kid she sang in nightclubs, and then went on to sing. Kari Wuhrer is an American model, singer and actress. Her acting career at Wooster school when she was 13 years old. Born in Brookfield on the 28th of April in 1967. Her mother works as an accountant for payroll, while her father is German-American and is a police officer and automobile salesperson. Kari is the youngest of three children. As a teenager her nightclub, she performed while slipping out for performances. Kari was only 13 when she began her acting lessons at Wooster School. In the following years, Kari enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts in New York University. Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College. Kari stepped into acting as a teenager, and her first break on television was 1987's MTV's Remote Control.
