Rauw Alejandro

Raul Alejandro OcasioRuiz (born on 10 January 1993) who is also known professionally as Rauw Alejandro, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. Referred to as the "King of Modern Reggaeton",[2][3] he belongs to "the younger generation" of Puerto Rican urban musicians. His debut album, Afrodisiaco (studio album), was released in the month of November in 2020. The second album of his studio Vice Versa, which debuted in June 2021 and featured the lead track "Todo de Ti". He has won two Latin Grammy Awards from twelve nominations. Raul Alejandro Olasio Ruiz was born in San Juan (Puerto Rico) on the 10th January 1993. His family was born in Carolina and Canovanas. Alejandro's father, guitarist Raul OcasioRuiz, and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz (backing vocalist) introduced him to numerous of his musical influences which included Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, as well as Chris Brown. [6] Alejandro was a part of his father's household for many years in the United States, mostly New York City and Miami and Miami, where he was inspired by R&B and the dancehall genres. Alejandro and Anuel, who is a fellow Puerto Rican rapper, were childhood acquaintances. They both went to the same high school and took part in classes. As a youngster, Alejandro competed in school talent shows due to an intense love for dancing. He attended the University of Puerto Rico after the completion of high school. He played soccer from six to twenty-five. He subsequently stopped playing because he didn't perform as well as he had hoped. In the year 20 He suffered an injury. He moved to Orlando, Florida to attempt to be scouted in the Premier Development League (PDL) however, he was not successful. Rauw Alejandro's style of music consists of Latin R&B, reggaeton, rhythmic pop, and ballads. Billboard stated that this makes him distinguish himself from a increasing number of reggaetoneros who lean towards pop. Presley as well as Jackson were influential in the beginning.
